William 'Bill' Wolford is a 25 year old poet and writer from Huntington, West Virginia. His one goal is to make the world a brighter place, be it through poetry or prose. He has self-published a handful of works, and hopes to eventually get his name out there on a broader scale.
You can catch him watching giant monster movies at home on the weekends, or at the occasional pop punk show.

Siren The sound of your voice was so beautiful that me, in my youth and naivety, could not help but to be drawn towards it. The siren sounds have drawn many men to their deaths, but even in my youth, I was too strong to die, whether it was by your hand or my own. So sing, siren, sing, and try to drag me into the ocean, for my lungs are strong enough to kiss you underwater and not drown, but my heart was never strong enough to see you leave, especially when I knew you'd never come back. ● William Wolford © 2018
