Mark Gilbert lives in the UK and enjoys writing short poetry, medium poetry and prose (any length). He was recently one of the winners in the First Annual Trailblazer Contest, and the author of 'Ribbons and Rainbows', a mini-chapbook about his experience of migraine published by Yavanika Press.
Author's comment on 'nano haiku': These six haiku (one per-page) go from four words in three lines down to just one word for the final poem (which is extremely rare). I hope they make sense and are thought-provoking, both separately and as a collection. I’m suggesting ‘nano haiku’ as a straightforward title which I don’t believe this has been used before in this sense. ‘Nano’ means smaller than ‘mini’ or ‘micro’.
