Walter Biskupski BioCVR Progress of the Heart 2023

 Cover by Lauri Burke

Progress of the Heart
(Appreciating Rumi,
Writer for the Soul.)

A heartbeat begins,
almost silent pulsating.
-A new life woken.

To accept this world,
and let love become your guide.
Be strong, not heartless.

The struggle persists.
Not to be broken apart,
you hold fast to love.

To speak as you feel,
with your heart broken open.
Now you’ve found your voice.

Not afraid to sing,
Serenade your life with joy,
in a heartfelt song.

So to say farewell,
Peace descends, the soul rises,
With no words spoken.
