The Constellations of Life

Before life became agony,
We ran towards the sun
Chasing an empty fantasy.

Desire was our compass.
Lost in every moment
A timeless existence

Oblivious to the maturing storm,
Love was our reason.
But time, an unforeseen enemy

An electrifying embrace interrupted
Innocence falling away
Yet, passion ignited power

Still in the chaos, we flourish.
Through the darkness, we learned to see
Maturity and compassion brought healing

Now, as the sun sets
We run towards the stars
As they take their place in our eternity.

Seasonal Depression

Every year, my tears fall
As the trees shed the memories of the past

Like the leaves, my spirit fell that day
As I work for a better tomorrow,
I am only left with sorrow.
Grief is no friend of mine.

Death and time go hand in hand.
When I laid them to rest,
My heart was ripped from my chest
And laid to rest with them.

Amidst the silence of death and whispers of grief,
The leaves will start fresh and offer relief.
Until next season when grief comes again.
