Z

I went

through

time

and never

stopped

Lagoon

Beyond the angelic lagoon

spins

a

color

no

artist

could

create.

Reality

The screams,

like iced-needles,

somehow managed

to find a way behind

our masks and characters.

Cat’s Eye

The

     blinking

      of

      a

       cat’s

             eye

                  tells

                        us

                           TIME.

Breath

The phrase around the last breath

involves a lifetime.

Observe the hello in the everyday eyes,

speaking words a voice

would never know or answer.

June Afternoon

Sun dials and the shady trees,
reflecting the glitter of children
playing dolls in the sand
along the edge of the ocean.

Ah, summer, summer
you ole handsome drummer,
clean cotton, blond and tan,
dancing like a smile through the trees.
